A graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art, Ann Crostic began painting Plein Air after enrolling in a course with Lee Boyton in 2008. Additional plein air studies have included workshops with artists Bethanne Kinsella Cople, Bill Schmidt Kenn Backhaus and David Lussier. In 2010 and again in 2011, Ann was one of 10 artists selected to attend the Artist Colony at Gettysburg, an artist in residency program. She has been juried into several plein competitions in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia and is a member of The Mid Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association. Her home in White Marsh, Maryland is within easy reach of infinite subjects to study. You may see her painting downtown in Fells or Hamden, or in the rural areas of Baltimore and Harford Counties.
