As a professional civil and architectural engineer, Patrick is inevitably fascinated by and drawn to transportation, dwelling and function, metal, concrete and stone. Most of his photographs intersect nature and man-made, exhibiting low-light and colorfully bright stages of the days and seasons. His most recent work focuses on light and color from the Brandywine Valley to Italy as well as the architectural form of historic and classic automobiles suffused with nature’s color.
Two new locations added to this years Plein Air Brandywine Westtown School and Grenoque. Thank you to Patrick McCoy for the photos. Patrick won first prize for photography in last year’s Plein Air competition for “New Castle Roses”.
